Role Purpose: The overall purpose of Media and Communication Coordinator position is to develop and implement media and communication strategy, oversee external and internal communication, develop concise, persuasive documents that promote topline advocacy messages which will report on violations of children’s rights, children’s empowerment activities and promote programme achievement. Develop media communication including drafting press release and press briefings, monitoring and evaluation of the progress in achievement of the set objectives and impact of media and communications activities.
Essential Qualifications: Holder of Masters level of education or equivalent in Development, Human Rights, Communication, Journalism, Political Science with good understanding and commitment to principles of child rights and child protection, Save the Children’s vision, mission and values including rights-based approaches. S/he must have proven abilities in delivering results for media and communication with experience in project monitoring and evaluation, with excellent communication skills. Experience of working for NGOs in a multi-cultural environment and/or international NGO is desirable.

• Over 2 years of experience in leadership positions or demonstrated progressive responsibility in management.

The Management of Tanzania Portland Cement is inviting for a suitable candidate to fill in the above vacant

Qualification:
1. Bachelor Degree OR Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management OR its equivalent.
2. Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Purchasing Software is essential.
3. Must be registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To check and compile requests for purchase/requisitions/work orders from user departments and stock
control for proper specifications.
2. To invite quotations from potential suppliers for bid evaluation process and to prepare and dispatch
purchase order in favour of approved bidder.
3. To prepare reports and KPIs and continuously evaluate performance of suppliers.
4. Liaising with Maintenance and Operations departments to ensure correct specification and all relevant
information for items to be purchased within agreed time frame.
5. To be responsible for attending any technical question about spare parts.
6. To advice SCANCEM/ Local Orders on technical inquiries regarding orders on the process.
7. To act as technical advisor to other sections within the dept.-Purchasing, Contracts and Stores.
8. To check all incoming requisitions related to plant equipment and spare parts to ensure proper and correct
specifications.
9. Make follow up of spares ordered to ensure delivery is as per specifications and to advice other employees in
the Procurement department on matters related to electrical and mechanical.
10. Attend daily technical meetings.
11. Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) compliance with the company requirements.
